Pioneer Power Rankings

Numbers taken from multiple time challenge-winner Thief_of_Crowns and his secret cabal of Green worshippers.

Hey all! Team Logic Knot and friends here. We have really enjoyed the high-quality content of other creators and their power ranking listicles with thoroughly researched, well analyzed, and super deep content and writing, so we here at Team Logic Knot (and friends) have put together some of our own rankings following the 6-13-24 challenges won by contributors Thief_of_Crowns and MandrillMan!

S Tier

This is the cream of the crop, the best of the best, the busted decks, the may need to be banned ones, the Lotus Breaches, the Karn Storms, the Inverter decks, etc. et al.

Mono-Green Devotion

The Best Deck in the Format

By Massapo (MandrillMan)

Note: There are also supposed to be four Invasion of Ixalan, but the deckbuilder doesn't like invasions.

This is the best deck in the format. We aren't actually sold on the sideboard being correct, as a matter of fact it probably is outright incorrect, but hey, a work in progress (and still putting up disgusting numbers).

A Tier

These are the other playable decks in the format, they are usually powerful strategies which have the capability of beating S tier decks.

Amalia

Amalia Twin (or the second best deck in the format)

By GLAM_

This deck sports a very impressive 52.72% wr against Mono-Green. It's incredibly powerful, and having a gameplan which is usually outright faster pre-board is extremely strong against decks like mono-green which can take a little bit of time to properly ramp up, especially seeing as Mono-green's best defense against most decks (its creature base) doesn't really do anything here. This is an extremely strong selection, and likely is worthy of being taken to any RCQ as long as you know how to pilot the deck well, especially against more interactive matchups.

B Tier

These are solid decks, which tend to target the S Tier or A tier, but usually can't do both or suffer from serious consistency issues.

...

C Tier

These decks suck. I would not recommend playing theses at almost any tournament, and therefore will not provide lists. They all have major weaknesses to the top decks of the format.

Red(green) Aggro

This deck sports an impressive 43% winrate against Mono-Green.

Rakdos Vampires

This deck sports an impressive 42% against Mono-Green.

Phoenix

36% against Mono-Green

UW Control

33.3% against Mono-Green

Waste Not

23% against Mono-Green

Spirits

23% against Mono-Green

Niv 2 Light

22% against Mono-Green

You should play Mono-Green.
