About Us

My name is Chris Heath but most people in the Magic community know me as Chef. My career in playing magic has taken me to a little less than a dozen Grand Prix and one Pro Tour on top of roughly 50 Pro Tour Qualifiers and many other small tournaments in the Midwest. While I am not a bad technical player, I am much more known for my ability to read meta games and tweak existing decks for a meta game.

Most of my articles on this website will not be in-depth game decisions or tournament reports as I only go to about one tournament every two months. I like to write about decks that are positioned well in meta games and give the reason why it will be a good choice followed by the sideboarding strategy.

Other than articles, I will be selling cards for less than other Magic the Gathering sites and will take any questions about these cards at thelogicknot@gmail.com.

If you are interested in writing for The Logic Knot please contact me. I am always looking for more writers! You will not be writing articles or making videos for free. I will usually pay contributors in either in-store credit or Magic cards.
